Request information for legal proceedings
How solicitors, insurance companies and regulatory bodies can request non-traffic related information for legal proceedings.
The UK General Data Protection Regulations (UK GDPR) 2021 and Data Protection Act 2018, allows the police to process personal data for legal proceedings, prospective legal proceedings and for obtaining legal advice.
Legal proceedings also includes requests made by regulatory bodies for fitness to practise purposes, in line with their statutory functions.
Fees
Charges are in accordance with the National Police Chiefs Council (NPCC) charging standards. However, we reserve the right to change some charges where appropriate.
