Internal Stop and Search scrutiny panel
In October 2019 we created an internal Stop Search scrutiny panel, in collaboration with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC).
The panel reviews samples of searches to ensure Stop and Search is being used legitimately, identify best practice and suggest areas of improvement.
