Pub Watch

The Pub Watch continue to meet every month . Over the last 6 months banning notices have been issued to 25 people.  These are temporary bans from between 6 months to a year and are for a number of reasons such as aggressive behaviour.  At the moment there are 32 people on the banning list.  This is everchanging as some bans reach there time and others are added.

What is Pub Watch?

Pub Watch is when the Police and local Licensees meet to discuss incidents that occurred within their establishments. After these have been discussed we then as a collective decide on what positive action can be taken in order to prevent this from happening again.

The main purpose of these meetings are to ensure you, as members of the Wellington Community, are safe and can enjoy your much deserved down time in the pubs and licensed premises.
