Tackling Anti-social Behaviour (ASB)

Reports are ongoing concerning student associated ASB both on and off-campus.

    The Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) at the UWE have conducted a number of visits to students living in the wider Bristol area around anti social behaviour (ASB).

    For the academic year (Sept 22) to date they have conducted 127 visits to student properties to provide advice to students around responsible behaviour in the community.

    We continue to work with partner agencies to tackle ASB including the UWE, University of Bristol, South Glos and Bristol councils, the council anti social behaviour teams and waste management teams.

  • 1 April 2022

    The Neighbourhood Policing team at the UWE continue to work closely with the UWE community liaison team and our partner agencies to tackle anti social behaviour (ASB).

    Local engagement is ongoing with problem locations / properties associated with reported Anti Social Behaviour.

    For persistent issues relating to ASB a multi agency approach, utilizing our partner agencies is and has been used to tackle reported ASB, particularly where this impacts on vulnerable members of the community.
