Speeding and No Right Turn Breaches – Filton Road
As a result of our Residents Drop-In session, reports of speeding were received, mainly on Eden Grove, Dorian Road, Keys Avenue and Highbury Grove and Filton Road.
We have seen a number of vehicles still breaching the ‘NO RIGHT TURNS’ rule on Filton Road, this is extremely dangerous and can cause accidents to both pedestrians and other vehicles.

Wednesday 16th February, 2022
The neighbourhood policing team have been carrying out patrols in the location of Filton Road in relation to the “No Right Turns” between Doone Road and Eden Grove.
All roads between these two roads heading outbound are no right turn, there is signage along the carriageway.
A number of motorist’s have been stopped and spoken to in relation to this offence, some of whom have been issued Traffic offence reports.

A number of reports have been received in relation to “NO RIGHT TURNS” along Filton Road. Our local officers PC Archer and PC Nash have been actively conducting patrols in the location and dealing with offenders robustly

PC Archer has been pulling over parents and providing formal words of advice and warnings of a penalty who are not complying with the no right turns policy on Filton Road in order to keep our local children safe.

A motorist has been issued a Traffic Offence Report for failing to comply with a No Right Turn on Filon Road for the offence, ongoing targeted patrols of these locations will continue.
