Nuisance motorcycles and electric scooters
There has been an increase in calls relating to motorbikes being driven around the area mainly Blaise Castle and Henbury Park in an anti-social manner.

The local beat team have educated a number of individuals who are riding E scooters and electric motorbikes illegally.
The Police are asking for any information regarding the use of these bikes in order to ensure they are being used legally.

The use of electric motorcycles has increased in the local area causing anti social behaviour and committing road related offences.
The police are asking for any intelligence relating to who is riding them to help deal with offences.

The local beat team have educated members of public regarding the use of private E Scooters on public roads and footpaths. We have educated individuals in order to tackle the issue.
Any repeat offenders will be dealt with as necessary

E Scooters are an on going issue for the beat team with a number of youths using them and riding in an Anti Social Behaviour.
Where appropriate we are educating regarding the legality of the use of E Scooters.
The beat team seized an E Scooter on 9th January due to it being ridden on the road illegally and we continue to do this where education is not appropriate or where the member of public has been warned previously.

The local beat team have seized a number of electric scooters in the past month from members of public riding dangerously or using them to assist with their criminal activity.
A number of warnings have also been given advising members of public it is illegal to ride private E Scooters on the highway and if they are caught riding they can be seized.

The beat team haven’t received many reports of motorcycles in the open space areas in the last few months. However there are a selection of people who are riding E- Scooters and electric powered bikes that aren’t road legal.
The beat team are working to reduce this through education when they see people riding them and also through enforcement when it is required.

Calls have reduced slightly regarding nuisance motorbikes in the open spaces. Local team are aware of the increase in use of electric scooters that are being dealt with as necessary when they come across offences

We have had an increase in calls regarding anti social use of motor vehicles in open areas such as around Blaise castle and the open space behind crow lane.
Some of the offenders for these incidents have been identified due to footage from members of public.
We encourage members of public to call up whenever this is occurring to assist the beat team in tackling the issue.

Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) granted for a prolific youth in the Henbury area. He now has a CBO prohibiting from attending certain stores and preventing him from being on any motorcycle. This order has a power of arrest attached and is an excellent piece of legislation.

This continues to be a problem for Henbury and Brentry as well as neighbouring beats. We are currently problem solving these issues and have arrested and successfully prosecuted three offenders in the past two months.
