Deflation of car tyres

Around Clifton there has been  multiple attacks on motor vehicles by the group calling themselves The Tyre Extinguishers’. This is a climate group looking to highlight environmental issues by deflating large car tyres.

  The offences have continued to take place and police still have two live investigations ongoing. The neighbourhood teams are chasing all possible CCTV enquiries and have taken full ownership of investigating any new offences.

  A problem solving plan is being adapted to look at the continuing issue with advice from colleagues in other police force areas.
