Your Neighbourhood Policing team receive regular complaints regarding speeding vehicles within the area, we are committed to monitoring the speed of vehicles within the town and would like to recruit new volunteers to help with Speedwatch.

since the Pandemic we have lost our group of volunteers for Speedwatch in Clevedon.
Volunteers are vital for supporting your Neighbourhood Policing Team and we would like to recruit new members for the Clevedon Speedwatch

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team Whilst out on Patrol conducted Speed Checks along Northern Way . At the time of the checks no vehicles were driving in excess of the speed limit. The team will continue to monitor the locations .

Your Neighbourhood Policing team are still looking to recruit new volunteers to take part in Speed watch and also to become members of a committee that meets every couple of months to address local issues. this meeting will be held in the evening with local agencies and members of the council taking part if you are interested please contact Clevedon neighbourhood Policing Team .

we are happy to report that with with effect from 8th March Speed watch sessions will be able to recommence with restrictions to only 2 operatives at site and observing social distancing rules to make sure operatives are safe
