Bike Thefts Town centre and surrounding shops

Following a crime series of bike thefts, the Sedgemoor NPT have been targeting the known hot spot areas, and have set ourselves some objectives –

Objective: Decrease the amount of theft taking place within the Town Centre and shops in Bridgwater
Achievable – High visibility patrols to gather evidence from shops and CCTV
Realistic – Target resources and the opportunity to arrest individuals committing theft and prosecute substantive offences

This will be continually reviewed, and we would encourage anyone having had a bike stolen to record this with the police by the usual means.
