Registering to Community Alerts

Avon and Somerset Police’s Community Alerts system allows registered users to receive alerts regarding community schemes and watches.


Our new system

We are moving to a new Community Alerts system. This will give you the same functions as the current system but with an updated to look and feel, similar to our website and other applications.

What does this mean for me?

You will need to securely re-register your details on our new system, within the next 90 days, to continue receiving alerts. If you do not, you will no longer receive these alerts once the old system has been shut down.

What to expect?

  1. Step 1 :

    Firstly, you will receive an alert via the existing system. This alert will explain how we are moving to a new system and that you will be contacted, through the new system, to re-register your details.

How to re-register

To re-register, complete the registration form:

To successfully re-register, you will need an email address and access to the account. This is because you will be asked to verify the email address.

Whilst re-registering, you can also update your communication preferences and which schemes you would like to receive alerts for.

If you do not wish to continue receiving alerts, you do not need to complete the re-registration form.
