Anti-Social Behaviour and Street drinking in the town centre

Glastonbury Town centre has a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) in place. It is an offence to consume alcohol in this area if you are asked to stop by either a Police officer or an enforcement officer. If this is breached, the offender will be reported to Mendip District Council for a fine or prosecution.

    Male reported to Mendip District council for failing to stop consuming alcohol in a restricted area

  • Tuesday 29th January, 2019

    PCSO Mel Rowlands and the enforcement officer from Mendip district council completed ASB patrols this morning in Glastonbury town centre. We routinely patrol the town centre to manage any anti-social behaviour developing.
