Homelessness is a social problem and we are committed to supporting those who find themselves homeless in Bridgwater. However, those committing offences through aggressive begging and Anti-social behaviour in town will be targeted in order to make the town a safe place for the community

Male persistently begging in Bridgwater town centre and causing anti-social behaviour has breached his Community Protection Notice and has now been summoned to court.

Male persistently begging on the Clink in Bridgwater has now been served a Comminity Protection Warning.

Regular patrols continue by the Beat Team.Male to be issued an Anti-social behaviour letter for begging outside Farmfoods and Next.

Tuesday 3rd September, 2019
The Neighbourhood Policing team are doing regular patrols in the town centre. If individuals are seen to be begging they are asked to move.

A male in Bridgwater Town Centre has been issued an Anti-social behaviour letter for begging outside Lloyds Bank.
