Coronavirus (COVID-19): the policing response and what you need to know

Police Transferees (Project Bluestone)

Project Bluestone is a dedicated investigations team who will work collaboratively to decrease vulnerability led crime in relation to rape and sexual violence.

The team will play an active part in offering victim support and advice, as well as running investigations to bring perpetrators to justice.

As part of the team, you will take a proactive approach to investigations, identifying and disrupting dangerous behaviours, and working with key organisations to develop support plans for victims.

Your work will help us increase our conviction rates for rape and sexual violence offences and improve support for victims, at a time when they are at their most vulnerable.

You will be dealing with sensitive and unpleasant situations and as such you need to be someone who can show professionalism and resilience at all times.

We are looking for the highest quality officers to join our ranks. You must be able to commit to and deliver our force values in everything you do.

Innovation is at the heart of what we do and we are always searching for new ways to help our people perform at their best, whether that is through the latest tech, pioneering different approaches or training and personal development.

Throughout your career we will enable you to unleash your full potential by providing dedicated support and training which will support your professional development.
