Appeal for information following road traffic collision

We are appealing for information and witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on the A37 Wells Road in Brislington.
The incident involved a dark coloured VW car and a cyclist and occurred at approximately 8.15pm on Friday (6 September) around the Petherton Road junction on the inbound carriageway.
The male cyclist aged 37 sustained serious head injuries and is currently in hospital in a life threatening condition.
